Model “Volunteer Village” built in 60 provinces and cities in Vietnam will include medical facilities (Hospitals or General Clinics) and educational facilities from Primary to High School ensuring teaching quality and costs suitable to the income of the student. local people. In addition, the Village also has a Nursing Home and an Orphanage that nurtures lonely elderly people and orphan children in difficult circumstances from the social welfare funds of the Hospital and School. One Health Foundation will be responsible for donating and raising funds to build and operate the project.

• Scale of the project:
  1.  The community general hospital has a capacity of 200 to 400 beds and is equipped with high-tech equipment. The hospital operates according to the mechanism of a private hospital to serve local medical examination and treatment needs at costs consistent with local income. Profits from the hospital will be used to care for victims of Agent Orange, lonely elderly people, orphaned children and poor local households.
  2. Community high school from elementary to high school with modern educational equipment. Schools operate according to the private school mechanism with costs consistent with local income. Profits from the school will be used to award scholarships and free tuition to local orphans and disadvantaged children.
  3. Nursing homes range in size from 150 – 200 beds, operating as a private nursing home providing services to local elderly people.
  4. Community nursing homes and orphanages have a scale of nurturing and caring for 100 to 200 lonely elderly people and orphans from funding from other items in the project and donations from the community.
   
• With the mission of focusing on education and health, the ”Volunteer Village” was built for the following purposes:
  1. Help local people access medical and educational services more easily and conveniently.
  2. Improve the quality of local health care and education services.
  3. Reduce the load on medical and educational facilities in central cities 4. Handle environmental pollution problems, create clean energy locally
  5. Create a sustainable ecosystem to help difficult local situations.
   
• The project aims to build 1 “Volunteer Village” for each province and city throughout the territory of Vietnam in each phase.
