About Strategic Cooperation

OneHealth Foundation (OHF) is proud to announce a strategic partnership with the Faculty of Multimedia Communications - Van Lang University, marking an important step forward in implementing the elderly care project in nursing homes. This combination not only brings innovative solutions in the field of health communication but also contributes to improving the quality of life for the elderly - a group that needs special attention in society.

Goals of the Elderly Care Project

The project aims to improve the physical and mental health of the elderly in nursing homes through practical activities:

  • Raising public awareness: Using multimedia to spread messages about elderly health care.
  • Practical support: Organizing visiting, health care and cultural exchange programs at nursing homes.
  • Training and development: Providing opportunities for students to participate in real-life projects, learn from experts and contribute creative ideas.

With the common vision of “For a healthy community”, OHF and Van Lang University are committed to bringing sustainable values, helping the elderly in nursing homes live happily and healthily every day.

Outstanding Activities in the Cooperation Journey

1. Pitching Creative Ideas:

“Journey of connecting love”: The highlight of the project is the application of communication technology to tell the stories of the elderly through videos and podcasts - as a way to show gratitude and educate young people about the value of intergenerational connections. Another highlight is the communication campaign #NoMoreAlone, spread through social networks to call for community cooperation.

“Musculoskeletal health care for the elderly”: Group B chose a more direct approach by building a series of regular activities at nursing homes, health care centers, and life skills classes for the elderly. The project also plans to cooperate with businesses to raise funds and support essential items for the elderly.

Both projects were piloted, receiving support from OHF and the teaching staff.

2. Implementation in Nursing Homes

Activities such as health check-ups, art classes, and technology training have been implemented in many nursing homes in Ho Chi Minh City. These initiatives not only benefit the elderly but also provide valuable hands-on opportunities for students.

3. Multi-Channel Communication

Using the power of multimedia, the project produced videos, articles and images to raise public awareness about the importance of caring for the elderly.

The Meaning of Cooperation

The collaboration between OHF and Van Lang University is not only a social project but also a testament to the community responsibility of the two organizations. The project has:

  • Improve quality of life: Help seniors in nursing homes feel cared for and connected.
  • Developing student skills: Providing a practical environment for students to practice their expertise and creativity.
  • Spreading human values: Arousing empathy and action from the community towards the elderly.

Future Vision

In the coming time, OHF and Van Lang University will continue to expand the project, bringing elderly care activities to many nursing homes. At the same time, the two sides will promote the application of technology and communication to optimize efficiency, aiming to build a healthy and sustainable society.
