Dong Son is one of the poorest mountainous and border communes of A Luoi. Thua Thien Hue province. This is also one of the local places with the most victims exposed to Agent Orange/dioxin. Most of the poor households in A Luoi are households with relatives exposed to dioxin. Even though the war has receded, somewhere out there there still exist many Vietnamese people who have to struggle with the devastating consequences that this orange agent brings every day.
Here, Chairman of the One Health Foundation charity fund - Mr. Nguyen Huynh Dang Khoa - represented the foundation to donate 50 million VND to victims exposed to dioxin with the desire to share part of the burden of life with them. the people here.
Through the program, we had the opportunity to interact with the victims here. After the questions, there were words of encouragement to the victims with the hope that they will continue to strive for this life.
Here, we sincerely thank the Vietnam Red Cross Society, Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Vietnam Post Office and the sponsors who have joined hands to share the burden of life with the unfortunate victims. to help them overcome pain and have the strength to live better.
Everyone's sharing is a common joy for the authorities and victims of dioxin contamination here. However, it does not stop at Hue alone, there are many places that still need the love of sponsors to help support unfortunate patients.
