In the context that the global health industry is transforming strongly under the impact of digital technology and smart care models, connecting international knowledge, experience and resources becomes the foundation for the sustainable development of each country.

 

In that spirit, One Health Foundation Vietnam Charitable Fund officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kaohsiung Veterans Hospital – Taiwan, one of the typical smart hospitals in Asia, a pioneer in the application of medical technology and intensive care for the elderly. The event marks an important step forward in One Health Foundation's international integration strategy.
COOPERATION BASED ON COMPLEMENTARY VISION AND CAPACITY

One Health Foundation operates in the direction of connecting health - technology - humanity, implementing many community health care programs and international cooperation. Meanwhile, Kaohsiung Veterans Hospital stands out with its smart hospital model, applying AI and digitalization in administration, treatment and long-term care. Similarity in vision and complementarity in capacity are the foundation for the two sides to build a genuine cooperative relationship, aiming for long-term effectiveness.
FROM AGREEMENT TO PRACTICAL IMPLEMENTATION

According to the MOU content, the two sides agreed to focus on cooperation in key areas:
  • Training and exchanging medical human resources, helping Vietnamese doctors and nurses access modern treatment and medical management standards.
  • Organize professional seminars and volunteer medical examination and treatment programs, contributing to raising awareness and quality of community health care.
  • Research and transfer medical technology, gradually building smart health care models suitable to Vietnamese conditions.
STRATEGIC ORIENTATION: CARE FOR THE ELDERLY
Intensive care for the elderly is identified as one of the strategic focuses of the cooperation. In the context that Vietnam is entering a period of population aging, accessing advanced care models from Taiwan is important in improving quality of life and reducing pressure on the health system.
