New Year's joy: Petrolimex sponsors 70 million VND for disabled children through the One Health Foundation

On January 2, 2025, the first day of the new year, at the Central Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology, the OneHealth Foundation held a meaningful sponsorship reception ceremony from the Vietnam National Petroleum Group - Petrolimex. The sponsorship amount of 70 million VND will be used to support surgeries for children with congenital cleft palate defects.

This special event was attended by guests:

• Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tu, Deputy Secretary of Petrolimex Group Youth Union.
• PGS-TS. Nguyen Quang Binh, Deputy Director and Chairman of the Trade Union of Central Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology.
• PGS-TS. Nguyễn Thị Xuân Thu, Head of the Northern Representative Office of OneHealth Foundation.

The ceremony is a testament to the meaningful connection between the Foundation, businesses and kind hearts to help disadvantaged children in life.

🌺 Operation Smile 2024 Program – Spreading Happiness

The Operation Smile 2024 program of the OneHealth Foundation aims to support children with congenital cleft palates, palates, and other defects in the maxillofacial area. With the meaning of "Giving is forever," the program demonstrates:

• The spirit of mutual love of Petrolimex youth, representing the young generation full of responsibility for the community.
• Social responsibility of organizations and individuals to join hands to bring better life opportunities to those in difficult circumstances

💖 New Year's Joy - Hope to bring smiles

The program brings happiness not only to the children but also to the volunteer team - who always do their best to act as a bridge between sponsors and vulnerable people.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tu shared: "Petrolimex Youth is proud to contribute to the journey of bringing smiles to children with disabilities, demonstrating responsibility for the community and spreading love."

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quang Binh shared: "From a professional perspective, the Central Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology is currently the most prestigious facility in congenital cleft palate surgery, not simply closing the cleft lip and mouth but also performing professional surgery, solving many problems related to the teeth and jaws, depending on each case, sometimes having to perform surgery 5-7 times with many stages and taking a lot of time and money. The hospital will ensure professional conditions and send the most skilled doctors to improve the children's disabilities. We hope that sponsors and the Fund will accompany us so that the children can have a better life."

PGS-TS. Nguyen Thi Xuan Thu also expressed her appreciation for the kind-hearted people, and affirmed that One Health Foundation will continue to be a solid bridge, connecting kind-hearted people to help more unfortunate lives, especially disabled children, to reduce difficulties in daily life and integrate easily into the community.

This event is not only a meaningful New Year gift but also a strong message of humanity and sharing. The joy spread from each child's smile when receiving gifts not only creates a hopeful start to the New Year but also motivates OneHealth Foundation to continue its charitable activities in the future.
