ONE HEALTH FOUNDATION VISITS AND GIVES TET GIFTS TO DISADVANTAGED FAMILIES AND WORKERS IN TRA VINH PROVINCE

On January 14^th, The Chairman of One Health Foundation – Mr. Nguyen Huynh Dang Khoa had chance to visit and give Tet gifts to disadvantaged families and workers in Tra Vinh province with Cross Red Vietnam. Especially, the Prime Minister – Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc visited and joined with us to bring happiness to people in there.

At the meeting on Tet Holiday, Tra Vinh province has made remarkable in 2019 when the total income per capita reaches 60 million VND/year. The proportion of poverty has sharply decreased to 2.62% (2018: 5.95%).

The Prime Minister – Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc was glad about the achievement of the leaders in Tra Vinh Province in 2019. However, Tra Vinh province is still a poor province since the transportation infrastructure has a lot of problems. The prime minister hopes that Tra Vinh will keep moving forward to strive, try and improve more in 2020.

On the occasion of the visit, we visited and wished Happy New Year to the Venerables and Venerables in the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Tra Vinh province at Luong Xuyen Pagoda. Here, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc expressed his wish that monks, nuns, and Buddhists well implement the Party's guidelines and policies and patriotic emulation movements, contributing to the work of building and protecting the Fatherland. country.

Although much progress has been made in the policy of reducing the rate of poor households and budget revenue has reached nearly 13,700 billion VND, Tra Vinh is still a poor province and the transport infrastructure still has many inadequate problems. The Prime Minister hopes that Tra Vinh Province will continue to strive, try and improve further in 2020.
