On the morning of November 17, 2021, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of OHF Charity Fund Mr. Nguyen Huynh Dang Khoa and the Redemption Association visited people in Binh Dinh province.
Through the survey on the extent of damage, as well as the need of the people at this time. Mr. Khoa awarded 1800 sets of life jackets with a total value of up to 2 billion 520 million VND.
Each set of life jackets is worth 1,400,000 VND with 14 useful tools included such as: Floating life jacket, PE fabric warm suit, plastic float made of EVA material. In addition, there are also some eye protection glasses, a siren, and food and dry food to help fishermen survive for at least 8 days at sea.
Just like every year, the delegation chooses quality life jackets with multi-functions to ensure the safety of fishermen. In particular, life jackets are designed with advanced materials to help fishermen float on the water, and prevent peeling skin to limit the attack of wild fish.
This activity is part of the Program to donate 15,000 multi-purpose life jackets to fishermen with difficult circumstances in 12 provinces and cities in the Central region, which was mobilized by former President Truong Tan Sang from organizations to contribute. with a total cost of more than 20 billion VND.
With the desire to contribute to encouraging poor and near-poor fishermen who have difficult circumstances to fish offshore in the central provinces with peace of mind to stick to the sea, overcome difficulties, rise up in life and protect the sovereignty of the land country.
