Vo Hong Son – Quang Ngai Center for Children with Disabilities was established in April 2015. The center is a community-based non-public social protection facility, formed from the initial help of the family of journalist Vo Hong Son – former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper. In particular, the mother of the late Vo Hong Son journalist donated more than 4,500m² of land to build the Center.
Over 2 years of operation, Vo Hong Son Center for Disabled Children has really become the second home for hundreds of disabled children in Quang Ngai province. In there, the children are loved, compensated, and winged for the simplest dream of life.
The aftermath of the war has not only affected the development of our country’s socio-economy but also been a great concern for many victims of Agent Orange. Vo Hong Son Center for Children with Disabilities was born as their second family. The center is where children with disabilities are nurtured, learning the culture, vocational training, guiding life skills for them to integrate into the community soon.
